Puma x Pokemon Collection Launches
Puma and the popular Pokemon video game brand have joined up to create a new collection of clothing, including sneakers, tees, and jackets. It’s no secret that the Pokemon franchise is a lucrative one; in fact, the series just celebrated its 25th anniversary, proving that it’s been around for quite some time and has been the subject of numerous licencing agreements. Many fans are excited for the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on the Nintendo Switch, but there are also many who enjoy collecting Pokemon-themed apparel and other merchandise.

Over the years, there have been many unique and sometimes bizarre partnerships between Pokemon companies, resulting in cool new collectibles for enthusiasts. In January of 2021, Bear Walker unveiled his plans for Pokemon-themed skateboards. Since then, the famous skateboard designer has put out a plethora of variations, many of which include iconic Pokemon characters like Pikachu, Gengar, Mewtwo, and the many Eevee evolutions.
As of right now, a new range of Pokemon clothes has been released thanks to a collaboration between the Pokemon franchise and the illustrious clothing label Puma. The announcement of this partnership and advertising photographs of the goods available to fans was made last month. The new collection of clothing is now available for purchase at the Pokemon Center web shop after a little delay. Fans can get their hands on a wide variety of apparel, from sneakers to hats to bags to hoodies to t-shirts, all of which feature designs based on one or more of the many Pokemon.
The Pokemon x Puma collaboration appears to be more nostalgic than cutting-edge, as many of the featured designs feature either Pikachu or one of, if not all of, the first-generation starters. While the Pokemon featured in the Gen 1 starters and their evolutions are instantly recognisable to fans of the series, those hoping to finally get their hands on their favourite Pokemon from a later game in the series may be left feeling a little let down by this collection. The sneakers featuring each of the Gen 1 starters have already sold out on the Pokemon Center website, but other items in the collaboration between Pokemon and Puma are proving to be incredibly popular.
If you’re looking to add some Pokemon gear to your wardrobe, you should visit the Pokemon Center online store as soon as possible to avoid missing out. If a Pokemon fan doesn’t get the clothing they wanted this time, they should keep their fingers crossed because there will undoubtedly be more collaborations between Pokemon and clothing brands in the future. In light of last year’s Pokemon collection from Converse, it’s possible that the two companies will strike a new brand deal for additional clothing.
