In Pokemon Black and White, the Litwick-line debuted with the fifth generation. The Shiny versions of these Pokemon wouldn’t be released until October 15, 2022, for Community Day, but they didn’t appear in the game until 2019. Anyone planning to employ Litwick in competitive play or in Gym Battles/Defense should work on developing it into Chandelure first.

Chandelure excels because to its Special Attack and its ability to learn new moves and TMs. If Lampent receives a Dusk Stone, Chandelure will develop in the main series. In order to evolve into Chandelure, players in Pokemon GO must first capture a Litwick. These were widespread in the month of October 2022 (ever since Community Day), but it is still possible to see one now. Its Ghost/Fire type makes it more likely to emerge under hazy or sunny conditions. If you manage to capture a Litwick, the following step is to develop it into a Lampent.
In order to develop a Litwick into a Lampent, 25 Litwick Candy are required. And then, 100 Litwick Candy and an Unova Stone are required to transform Lampent into Chandelure. Litwick Candy can only be obtained by the capture of more Litwick.

Feeding a wild Litwick a Pinap Berry or Silver Pinap Berry before capturing it is a fast method to produce Candy. Players may earn Unova Stones in a number of ways, including by completing Research Breakthroughs, beating Team GO Rocket Leaders, or spinning a PokeStop on the seventh and final day of a seven-day streak. Those odds of them failing are vanishingly small at 1%. Keep an eye out for in-game events, since Pokemon GO has been known to provide players with Unova Stones for completing Timed Research.
Hex (Ghost-type) and Fire Spin (Fire-type) are two of Chandelure’s most reliable Quick Moves (Fire-type). While Fire Spin does greater damage, Hex has a better EPS due to its higher success rate (Energy per Second). Meaning that Hex will charge Chandelure’s Charge Move quicker than Fire Spin, but at a reduced cost in damage and DPS (Damage per Second).

Chandelure’s Charged Move is Shadow Ball (Ghost type) or Overheat (Fire type) (Fire-type). Whereas Overheat inflicts 160 damage, Shadow Ball only delivers 100. If you use Overheat on a Chandelure, its Attack will be “harshly lowered” from that point on. Players should keep it in mind while they engage in combat. As an alternate, Poltergeist may use Chandelure’s Charge Move (Ghost-type). Sometimes, when Lampent evolves, it will have Poltergeist as its Charge Move. If not, then an Elite TM must be used.
