Overwatch 2 Ramattra Voice Actor Confirmed
New Tank hero Ramattra was just introduced in Overwatch 2 with the release of an origin film that detailed his history and confirmed other elements, such as his voice. Ramattra’s menacing voice acting has impressed many Overwatch 2 players, who may be curious about the actor behind the character’s voice.

When Season 2 of Overwatch 2 begins on December 6, Ramattra will join the cast of playable characters. Blizzard is also working on a Ramattra-themed map, although it hasn’t been released yet. Whatever the case may be, Ramattra’s “Nemesis” mode, in which he becomes a massive beast with a new array of skills compared to his usual form, should set him apart as a novel new Tank hero when he enters the Overwatch 2 roster. Throw in Ramattra’s ability to punch through shields, and he should cause quite a ruckus.
Although it didn’t show off any of Ramattra’s skills or powers, Overwatch 2’s origin film for him did provide light on how and why Null Sector came to be led by an omnic. Fans will have to wait to find out more about Ramattra, although they may be interested to know that British actor Ramon Tikaram provides his voice.
Ramon Tikaram has made guest appearances on many major television shows, including the critically acclaimed Game of Thrones on HBO. He has also worked extensively as a voice actor for video games, including in titles like Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fable 3, and Need for Speed: Payback. Tikaram has also provided his voice for characters in games developed by FromSoftware, such as Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring. Tikaram voiced the Elden Ring boss Godrick the Grafted in the latter, who is also one of the first significant bosses the player faces.
Even though Tikaram’s portrayal of Ramattra in Overwatch 2 has been well received by the game’s fanbase, it will be intriguing to hear the character’s voiced outside of the brief origin film. Since Ramattra is the head of Null Sector, he likely will play a significant part in Overwatch 2’s PvE mode when it releases, but specifics are still unknown.
Whether or whether Ramattra will play a significant role in the Overwatch 2 PvE remains to be seen, but Blizzard has confirmed that he will have some interesting interactions with the Support hero Zenyatta. The possibility exists that he will also make an appearance in an animated short.
