In order to fix an issue with Mei’s Ice Wall ability that lets heroes teleport to undesired areas, Blizzard said it will temporarily disable the character. We are doing all we can to fix these problems as soon as possible, and we hope to have Mei back in the game with the next patch on November 15.

Due to the glitch, Mei could utilise her wall to access areas outside of the actual game, allowing her to easily avoid detection from enemies and score easy kills and damage. This video of the vulnerability was uploaded on Reddit for all to see.
In the last several weeks, the heroes Bastion and Torbjörn have both been taken off of the game due to issues that were severely impacting gameplay. They were taken out because their removal was only one of several problems that hampered the game’s shaky release, which also included long wait times and constant DDoS assaults.
