New Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trailer Finally Teases Paradox Pokemon
A new teaser for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, including the song “Celestia” by Ed Sheeran, has been released only days before the games’ release. While finally teasing the inclusion of Paradox Pokemon, the video provides a high-level picture of the area and many of the personalities players will encounter.
It’s true that we haven’t seen many trailers for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet from Game Freak or The Pokemon Company this year. This is likely the last significant trailer before the film’s premiere, given there haven’t been many of them. While it doesn’t add much to what fans already knew, the promise of Paradox Pokemon is sure to excite them.
The preview offers a quick glimpse at both the Ancient and Past Paradox versions of Donphan. They seem enormous compared to regular Pokemon, however this may be exaggerated for dramatic effect. This teaser also reveals the first Tera Raid after the Scarlet and Violet games’ releases would focus on the Pokemon Evee, with a Charizard of the Dragon Tera type to follow. Even while this may please Charizard enthusiasts, others have complained that the first-generation starting Pokemon is used too often by Game Freak and The Pokemon Company. In any case, it promises to be a fascinating adventure.
Great Tusk and Iron Treads are the names that Serebii gives to the Ancient Donphan and the Future Donphan, respectively. Indeed, they are odd choices for Pokemon names, but they make sense considering that Paradox Pokemon are themselves out-of-the-ordinary creatures. Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are the only two colours that can catch the Ancient Paradox and the Future Paradox, respectively, because of their connections to time travel. Paradox Pokemon are revealed as number seven in both Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
With just ten days left before the games’ release dates, it’s feasible that the firms may show off more in the coming days. It seems like this plus the previously released grand overview trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are all that will be shown. While a light final week is not feasible, it is very unlikely. Scarlet and Violet would have sold like hotcakes even if more had not been revealed of Pokemon. Even with no promotion, the success of the Pokemon series is clear.
