Since her introduction in 2013, Jinx has risen to prominence as a fan favourite and one of the game’s most recognisable champions, often appearing in trailers and advertisements. Another spike in popularity for Jinx and her lore sister Vi occurred in 2021 with the premiere of the animated League of Legends series, Arcane. Despite Arcane’s success at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, when it earned four of its five nominations, fans were surprised to discover so little apparel available to demonstrate their love and support for the programme.

The creators of League of Legends have partnered with Nerf to provide an expensive solution to the problem, Jinx’s own Fishbones rocket launcher from the game and series. This classic Nerf firearm has a drum that holds 18 darts and can shoot three foam projectiles at once; it sells for $170 as part of the Nerf LMTD line. Fans eagerly anticipating the premiere of Arcane Season 2 may now pre-order Jinx’s trusted weapon on Amazon until January 3, 2023, although it won’t really arrive until December 1, 2023. With a staggering 35 inches in length and movable jaws, this weapon is more suited for exhibition than regular usage.

Fans of League of Legends and Nerf can now get their hands on an official Fishbones while also showing their support for the League of Legends and Arcane development teams. This comes after years of dedicated cosplayers designing their own versions of Jinx’s guns, such as Pow-Pow, Zapper, and Mr. Sparkles. Priced at $170, only the most dedicated fans of the character, rather than newbies to League of Legends, are likely to make the purchase.

Fans of League of Legends and Jinx who are excited about the upcoming second season of Arcane and the return of Jinx as a significant hostile figure will undoubtedly be keen to get their hands on a Fishbones while supplies last.
