As with many other popular franchises, God of War Ragnarok was a popular choice for Halloween costumes this year. Kratos’ enormous and towering build makes it difficult for most people to mimic him, although some individuals have succeeded in doing so. In spite of this, it’s unusual to come across a teen-aged child that looks like Atreus and whose father looks like Kratos. Surprisingly, one fan of God of War: Ragnarok has done so, and they’ve found a father-son combination that look much like Kratos and Atreus.

Reddit user Bonkbonkguy posted a photo of two men, one older with a beard, a big frame, and a bald spot on his head, and the other younger, probably a teenager. It appears like the elder one is a dead ringer for Kratos, down to his physique and features, while the younger one is Atreus. Apparently, they are a group of people that go by the moniker SolidRev and broadcast video game content on both YouTube and Twitch. These two are also a father and son; the former shaved his head and carefully trimmed his beard in homage to the father and son duo in God of War: Ragnarok.

During a recent broadcast, Bonkbonkguy captured a snapshot of the father and kid dressed in these matching outfits. It was first used as a joke to poke fun of the PS4 version of God of War: Ragnarok’s visuals. SolidRev, on the other hand, took the memes in a humorous spirit and posted several of them on their Twitter feed. The Twitch and YouTube broadcaster is one of millions of fans of Santa Monica Studio’s newest game.

The next instalment in the series, God of War Ragnarok, will focus on the end of the Norse age, also known as Ragnarok. Fans and journalists alike have praised God of War Ragnarok, with particular attention paid to the game’s combat, plot, and gameplay.
