Genshin Impact Reveals Wanderer and Faruzan as New Characters for 3.3
The forthcoming version 3.3 of Genshin Impact will include two new playable characters, Wanderer and Faruzan. Since 3.2 will be a week shorter than average, the new version will likely release in early December, according HoYoverse’s update timetable.

Considering that these two Genshin Impact characters have been referenced in a number of leaks over the last couple of months, there is a great deal of anticipation around them. The flag cycles in which these characters will appear are unknown, although it is reasonable to presume that they will each get their own banner.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has announced, after months of rumours, that both Wanderer and Faruzan will be available to play. The character Wanderer, formerly known as Scaramouche, is one of the most anticipated in the game because of the role he plays in the plot. Players have been wondering whether Scaramouche would be added to the playable roster ever since his debut during the Unreconciled Stars event. In the current Sumeru storyline, we learn that he was supposed to be the Electro Archon, but Ei disqualified him since he cried soon after birth.

Ei shackled his abilities and let the Wanderer decide his fate, which led him to join the nefarious Fatui organisation as a member known as Scaramouche. With the approval of the Cryo Archon Tsaritsa, he was chosen as one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. Even though Scaramouche wasn’t seen in the “A Winter Night’s Lazzo” teaser, many players correctly predicted that he will play a significant part in the current Sumeru Arc, in which he is set to arrive as a new weekly boss.

Scaramouche may join the playable cast following his defeat of the Traveler, but only if he has defected to the good side. Splash art has indicated that the Wanderer will have an Anemo Vision, despite the ship’s previous mastery of the Electro element.

In spite of the fact that her arrival has been announced for the next update, not much more is known about Faruzan at this time. She used to be part of the Sumeru Akademiya but vanished without a trace. HoYoverse has revealed that, like the Wanderer, Faruzan will be a brand-new Anemo protagonist. Since a bow is widely assumed to be her weapon of choice, it’s surprising that it wasn’t included in the formal announcement.
