According to the latest Genshin Impact leak, players will have the option of giving one of the future characters a another name. This character is currently known as Scaramouche and the Balladeer. His inclusion in the next 3.3 update, with fellow Geo user Arataki Itto, was revealed at the official live broadcast event for the release.

After joining the notorious Fatui organisation and becoming one of the Eleven Harbingers, this figure, who had previously been destined to become the Electro Archon, supposedly took the name Scaramouche. Since the game’s cutscenes will likely continue to refer to the character as Wanderer, it is yet unknown how this new renaming function will impact the overall plot.
There’s a possibility this mechanism won’t be utilised for anything except the Serenitea Pot mode, a special house-building option that was introduced in version 1.5, according to other leakers.
