Fire Emblem Engage Introduces New Character Chloe
Chloe the Pegasus Knight, one of the game’s brand-new characters, is featured in a fresh round of gameplay sneak peeks. The first trailer for Fire Emblem Engage, which introduced its location and central idea of fusing previous Fire Emblem heroes, was released in September. The teaser also included several new characters, including the playable Lord protagonist and a number of allies from various nearby countries.

Other characters from nearby kingdoms who appeared in the unveiling video also received attention thanks to tweets from the official Fire Emblem Twitter account. The princess and prince of Firene, one of several kingdoms in Fire Emblem Engage, are figures that players may enlist in their army. Chloe the Pegasus Knight, a further representative of this realm, was just made public on the official Twitter account.

According to her official profile, Chloe is a knight who serves and adores Firene’s Princess Celine. She is also described as a person who likes scary stories and beautiful imagery, and tries to find combinations of these two things whenever she can. A preview of her gameplay was shown, where she serves as one of the mounted flying units in the game riding her pegasus.
This starting class is known as Lance Pegasus according to a translation by SatsumaFS. Chloe’s pegasus also allows her to cover more ground than other units, flying through the air. Much like other Pegasus Knights in Fire Emblem, she’s described as being best used against magic units, but is balanced out by their inherent weakness to bows.

In the last gameplay segment of Engage, Chloe and Celine are resting and talking about their leisure time while having a support chat. To get them to a field where they may enjoy some tea, Celine offers that Chloe transport them there on her pegasus. Chloe is accepting of the suggestion and is open to it.

Chloe’s design has won over many admirers, and devoted followers have noticed that she shares a voice actor with another member of the franchise. That would be Caeda, Marth’s love interest and canonical wife from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, the first game in the series. Given that Caeda performed a similar function in Tokyo Mirage Sessions, fans are expecting that Caeda will make an appearance as an Emblem.
