This week’s Destiny 2 developer Bungie article informed the game’s community about upcoming upgrades and adjustments as well as the most recent additions to Destiny 2. Many gamers are eager to see what Season 16 of the famous, massively multiplayer shooter will offer.

In anticipation of the upcoming The Witch Queen addition, Destiny 2 players are eagerly anticipating an abundance of new features and plot information, including the possible demise of several non-player characters (NPCs). Bungie is also making modifications to the game’s quality of life for gamers.

 

The Destiny developer highlights the pattern is found in the data submitted by players in Season 15 in the opening few paragraphs of its blog post on Bungie’s website. Some Destiny 2 players were discovering that their Reputation levels were not improving as swiftly as expected because they were playing the Vanguard playlist and the Trials of Osiris differently than planned, according to Bungie.

Bungie intends to address this issue in the next Season 16 by tailoring Reputation acquisition to individuals’ playstyles rather than the models Bungie had anticipated.

A new system for gaining Reputation will be implemented in Vanguard, Nightfall, and the Trials of Osiris. On completion and active streaks of tasks, Vanguard’s Reputation is to be raised. Nightfall multipliers and completion quality will also be tweaked to make the Reputation gain perceived more in line with that of Crucible. For Vanguard players, the rate at which reputation is gained should be doubled. Up to 50% more Reputation will be gained by participants in Trials of Osiris. Reputation acquisition isn’t the only thing that’s changing in Destiny 2. Destiny 2 Tweaking Reputation Gains in Some Playlists Trials of Osiris and Nightfall will get new weapons as part of the “Witch Queen” DLC, which will encourage players to return to those games. As a side note, the Vanguard Strikes playlist has been renamed Vanguard Ops, however, this does not affect the Reputation gained in the playlist.
