Chris Evans named People magazine’s sexiest man alive
Chris Evans, who plays Captain America, was voted People magazine’s “sexiest man alive” for 2022 on Monday, succeeding Paul Rudd, who plays Ant-Man in the Marvel films, who held the title in 2021.
The title “feels like a strange type of modest boasting,” Evans, who is 41 and unmarried, added. But he couldn’t wait to tell his number one supporter, his mother.

Evans said in an interview with People, “My mom will be very delighted.” She takes pride in everything that I accomplish, but this is something she can really boast about.
From his early work on “Opposite Sex” in 2000 to his portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America, dubbed “America’s Ass” in the Marvel film “Avengers: Endgame,” Evans has steadily risen in the public eye.
The “Gray Man” actor wants to settle down and have a family despite his success in Hollywood.
That’s something I desire, Evans said.
Some things I wish to keep to myself, or to share just with my closest friends and family. I’m at a point in my work where I can finally relax and enjoy myself. I feel like I have more leeway to take breaks from the profession and still find work that will feed my creative needs when I go back.
While Evans, a native of Boston, isn’t afraid to brag about his sexual prowess, there is at least one guy who doesn’t feel comfortable calling himself “attractive.”
describing the qualities that, in his opinion, make his hometown attractive.
“There’s so much history to learn about!” I find the accent to be utterly endearing. That dialect, he claimed, was “home” to him. “This weather is fantastic. Change of seasons, change of teams. But maybe the city’s colleges and institutions are the city’s most alluring features. Many excellent educational institutions may be found here. Okay, let’s put the spotlight on learning since that’s so hot.
Although he is still getting used to his newfound looks, Evans told People that he would always remember the award with great fondness, even when he is “old and sagging.”
To the magazine, he expressed his gratitude for being included in the conversation at all: “I’m happy to be in the debate in any capacity.”
