The fifth map in Apex Legends, Broken Moon, was launched on November 1, 2022, and takes place in the 28th century. As the first patch of Season 15 of Apex Legends did not alter any previously released Legends, many players were anxious to check out the map and its numerous aspects before its debut.

Players were disappointed to discover an annoying glitch that affects the competitive integrity of games played on the Broken Moon map, since the new map was one of the key sources of new material for the current season with the new legend Catalyst.

Projectiles like as grenades and bullets simply bounce off of unseen terrain that players have been discovering in the Promenades region of the game in recent days. Some gamers have also noticed that the abundant greenery in Broken Moon makes it difficult to aim your weapon at your target. On Twitter, Respawn Level Designer Aaron Stump informed players that the studio was aware of these problems and that a remedy would be coming soon, maybe in patch 15.1 when the Broken Moon level would first get its changes.

Since Respawn is already aware of the problems with grenade-blocking invisible walls, drones employed by Crypto, and bullet-blocking vegetation on Broken Moon, patches will likely be put out in the next few days; more complex issues will be addressed in a subsequent patch. In order to help those working on the upcoming patch, Aaron Stump has asked gamers to keep reporting any significant issues they come across on the map.

Many players are frustrated with Broken Moon, but the fact that the developer Respawn is aware of the problem and plans to address it in the upcoming patch demonstrates that they care about what players think and are ready to make necessary changes.
